About| ♣ WELCOME TO FALL FOR S/X Welcome to Fall for S/X, where we'll celebrate the pairing of Spike/Xander all autumn long. Why? Because they are beautiful, sexy, and totally right for each other. Spike, whether he’s the Big Bad, chipped (with a chip on his shoulder), a vampire with a soul, or our reluctant hero, will always be a fool for love. Xander, whether he’s the Zeppo, a demon magnet, or just the heart of the Scoobies, wields the power of love, and he will always be Spike’s nummy treat. No matter how you like them individually, you love them together. Come share that love! We are looking for fic, icons, wallpapers, manips, artwork, vids, essays...anything that lets you express your love for the pairing of Spike/Xander. Please note that this is not a ficathon or challenge comm, nor is it a place for requests. Sign-up Period: August 28 through September 22 (or until all the days have been filled up) We would like to have at least one person per day. If we get more people than that wishing to sign up, then we'll try to schedule a person who is going to contribute fic with someone who is contributing graphics, where possible. If you’d like to share your day with someone, you may do so, but you must give us the names of everyone who will be posting when you sign up, so that we may give everyone posting access. Please note that, due to complications in our second round, you must be a member of the community before you sign up for a date. (If you’re sharing your day, all contributors must be members.) Even if you're not planning on contributing, we welcome you to join us and enjoy the fic and graphics. We'd appreciate it if you'd take a moment to feedback the authors/artists, as well. |  | RULES ♦ 7) Please make sure that everything has a proper label, especially NC-17 fic and non-work safe graphics. A note on ratings: Please feel free to continue to use the familiar MPAA rating system if you wish to. If you use another rating system, please make sure it's clear to the reader. (ie, mature/adult or 'here there be smut' is better than 'blue wombat') 8) All graphics and fic longer than a drabble should be behind a cut. The only exception to this is two or three teaser icons or thumbnails. Also, if you are posting several wallpapers, please post thumbnails linking to the full-sized graphic. Your f-list, especially those of us still on dial-up, will thank you. *g* 9) Clearly label your post in the subject line for ease of adding them to memories and tagging, ie, Artwork, Banner, Essay, Fic, Icons, Manip, Wallpaper, Vid etc. 10) Use headers for your fic, something along the following standard formula is fine: Title: 11) No unfinished WIPs please. You do not have to post your fic all in one entry (chaptered fic is fine), nor even all in one day, but we’d like all fic that has been created for Fall for S/X to be posted here in their entirety before the season ends. 12) Do not link to f-locked posts. If your journal is f-locked, please post your submission here at the comm. 13) No off topic posting allowed; it will be deleted. 14) Feedback is greatly appreciated. Flames are not. They will be deleted and the flamer banned. |
| ♥ RULES 1) If you want to sign up for a date, you must join the comm first. This will make life much easier for your mods, and we thank you in advance for your cooperation. Joining is quick and easy, just go HERE. 2) This is a Spike/Xander comm, which means that they are together in a relationship or clearly headed towards one. Pre-slash is fine, but let’s not get carried away with the pre-pre-slash stuff. There can be angst and owwies -- we don’t expect the path of true love to run smoothly, especially for Spike and Xander -- but this is not a comm for gen or friendship fic. Or enemy fic. *g* And since we'd like to keep the focus squarely on Spike/Xander, no threesomes/moresomes, please. 3) If you have signed up to post on a certain day, please do so. No late posts will be accepted (unless you've switched days with someone, in which case, let us know so we can revise the posting schedule). If you cannot make your day, please let one of us know so we can get someone else to fill the day. Time differences will be taken into account. 4) Two Strikes Rule: The second time you claim a day and do not post on that date without letting us know beforehand (by midnight of the day prior to your posting date at the latest), you will no longer be able to participate here.
